Privacy Policy
Effective July 9, 2026
This policy explains what Juris Compiler AI collects, how it is used and shared, and how long it is kept. In short: your recordings are used only to produce your transcript and are deleted from storage after processing; your transcripts and matters are isolated to your account; and we never sell your data.
1.Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to your use of Juris Compiler AI (the “Service”). It should be read together with our Terms of Service & Legal Disclaimer.
2.Information we collect
- Account information: your name and email address, and either a hashed password or, for social sign-in, a basic profile (name, email, avatar) from your provider.
- Recordings you upload: the audio or video files you submit for transcription, and metadata you attach (such as matter, case number, or court).
- Generated content: the transcripts, speaker labels, and AI-generated analysis produced from your recordings.
- Payment information: processed by our payment provider. We receive transaction records but do not store your full card number.
- Technical data: basic logs needed to operate and secure the Service.
3.How we use information
We use the information above to:
- provide the Service — transcribe your recordings and generate analysis;
- process payments and maintain your account;
- secure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the Service;
- comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the contents of your recordings or transcripts to train third-party public models.
4.Service providers we share with
We share data only with vendors that help us run the Service, under agreements limiting their use of it:
- Transcription & AI analysis — a third-party speech-to-text and language-model provider processes your recording to produce the transcript and analysis.
- Cloud storage & database — providers that host your account data and temporarily stage your media during processing.
- Payments — a PCI-compliant payment processor handles card details.
- Sign-in — if you choose social sign-in, your chosen provider authenticates you.
We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service.
5.Data retention
Source media is transient. Once a recording has been transcribed, the original media file is deleted from storage — we keep the resulting transcript and analysis, not the source file. Unpaid uploads that are abandoned are removed automatically after a short grace period.
Your transcripts, analysis, and account data are retained while your account is active so you can access them, and are removed on account deletion, subject to any retention we are legally required to maintain.
6.Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted transport, access controls, and per-account isolation so that each user’s transcripts and matters are accessible only to that account. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7.Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update your profile in the app, and you can request access or deletion through the in-app support page. We will respond consistent with applicable law.
8.Cookies
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies — principally a signed session cookie that keeps you logged in, and short-lived cookies used during sign-in. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising.
9.Children's privacy
The Service is intended for professional use by adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Effective” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
11.Contact
Questions or requests regarding your data can be directed to the account owner through the in-app support page, or by email at juris.compiler.ai@gmail.com.
This page is a general-information summary of our privacy practices and is not legal advice. Consult your own counsel about your specific obligations.
